The INOVO Group is a technology rich group of companies, working
across a diverse spectrum of infrastructure focused industries,
such as construction, MEP engineering, communications and database
applications, macro power generation and distribution, mining,
security and life safety systems.
Our client required a brochure in the form of a hardback book.
The book was to be used as a company overview piece, a 'leave
behind' when attending large global pitches and presentations.
Their brand logo already existed and a few presentation materials
had already been created but as this book would be used in a
different context, it required something special…
The existing identity was really nice, very clean and edgy – quite
linear but organic at the same time. How could this be developed further,
what was it lacking? As a group we pondered for sometime and then
realised that the brand elements surrounding the logo lacked dimension.
It was a little too rigid and almost electronic, somewhat one-dimensional.
The book needed to give a sense of movement, fluidity and really
speak out about the company ethos and versatility. A mix of the brand logo
with organic forms simulated that the business was moving with the times.
