Dawn Reid of Inspired Vitamins contacted Chris Heighton for branding and marketing advice in order to bring her unique children's multivitamin product to market.
Innovitive Vitamins, all goodness, no badness. This is the products main strap line and one of its USPs that had to be portrayed within the brand.
Very early on when we had to compete and pitch initial ideas to win the project, the aim was to produce packaging that wasn’t unnecessarily large
and had no extra wastage that competitors have in order to make their product stand off the shelf. With such a small product box the brand colours
and packaging had to be different. Using white space is key in this instance, something that designers rarely have the opportunity to use, but here,
more than anywhere it proved to be the right direction. The product stands out amongst the tall and bulky vibrant green and oranges of
its competitors. The white space importantly supports the brand’s philosophy.
Following on from the product branding and packaging we designed, developed and integrated an informative eCommerce site. Implementing secure payment
options such as Google checkout initially, Paypal and Barclays card payment system. Later as the product became more successful and Amazon began to
stock the product, we promoted Amazon as the main seller in order to provide valued customers the most up to date offers for the product.
Alongside brand development, product packaging and website we developed creative marketing materials for our client to attend road shows and trade events.
